Run, don't walk, over to
Quilt Arts online. They are having a 50% off sale. Yes, that's right ... 50% off all fabric! And all the top designers -- Amy, Joel, Kaffe, Heather, Denyse, Tina, Sandy, and more. Kokka and Japanese fabrics, too. Fat quarters are only $1.25 ... WHAT??!!

And yes, they do have the coveted rocketship fabric that I've featured here on my blog a few times.
Thanks to Flickr pal
lharsma for the tip!
thanks, i just ordered me a couple of fat quarters!! (needed to help build up my extremely sad stash, or nonexistant stash!) thanks again!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent. Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteCHOKE IS RIGHT! I just got EQ6 for half price. Thank you for sharing. I also had to fill up my stash because how can you resist?
ReplyDeleteAaah John - just when I promised myself not to go on a fabric. Now I'm going to be tempted and preoccupied all day with thoughts of that cute polka dot Michael Miller fabric that I've been wanting - at 50% off. How to get my mind off of this ... I know - I'll go out and spend some time in the sunshine - oops can't do that - we haven't seen the sun in 5 days - have we - so I guess I'll have to place an order. I'll be stimulating the economy - right?
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help!
ReplyDeleteI was tempted by the rocket fabric, but wasn't sure since I couldn't see a bigger swatch.
I did get the Michael Miller dots that Lynn mentioned tho- well, one of the dots.
I'm so tempted to go back.
THANK YOU so much for sharing this!! Once I woke up after fainting, I ordered- boy, did I order!! ~ Jennie
ReplyDeleteHey now folks - save me some of those polka dots!
ReplyDeleteI already saw the sale, but thanks for the tip on the rocketships! :)
ReplyDeleteOhmygosh, that was fun! Thank you for the heads-up!

ReplyDeleteThanks! I just ordered quite a few fat quarters to add to the stash. You just can't beat 50 % off.
ReplyDeleteBad John, BAD. Look what you made me do! I ordered fabric. ARRRGH.
ReplyDeleteOh well, it was only 8 FQs and a yard. But still, aren't you ashamed?

I did my part to stimulate the economy. Oh...and I did get some polka dots.

ReplyDeletei broke down too, and had to buy some!! :) i don't know if i really needed 26 fq's, and a few kona cotton solids, but hey, they will look great in my stash!! :)
ReplyDeletethanks for letting us all know of these great deals!!
thanks for that John, I went shopping, stocked up on more prints charming, and a kona solids quilt kit. Just what I don't need ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, John! I just filled up my cart--what an unbelievable sale!
ReplyDeleteMaybe QuiltArts would hire you to promote any future sales--you got us all spending like crazy:)
Thanks, what a great site. I thought I might hyper-ventilate when I saw the sale!!
ReplyDeleteoh dangerous... must... resist... why did I check your blog today?? watch me cry as I pass this off cuz I'm poor :(
ReplyDeleteAwww man...I just bought a ton of fabric last night somewhere else. Of course that did not stop me from pickinng up a few things here. I got a few yards of things that NEVER go on sale. Thanks for the tip!
ReplyDeleteI actually deleted the email from Quilt Arts in order to resist a sale. Then Jennie sent me an email about it and well, I caved. I got the rocket fabric too. Although, who knows if I will actually get it or not if everyone else ordered it as well! I hope you got your Joel Dewberry Aviary fabric!
ReplyDeleteI'm about to drop $100 right now.
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing I'll visit my parents this week...I cant afford groceries now!
THANK YOU for the heads up :D
And $73 later...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up!
Yep- I spend more of Buggletquilt's money on fabric than I do of my own! And somehow she's still my friend...
ReplyDeleteMission accomplished ... fabric ordered. Now to figure out how to head off mailman.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I just ordered my Amy Butler 20-pack of Fat Quarters. Even with the cost of postage and package this is MUCH cheaper than the fabrics over here in the Netherlands. So thanks!
ReplyDelete(with utmost sarcasm...) Thanks a lot! I went there this afternoon and got a ton of stuff. Then just realized at these prices I could get a little more (sigh!)).
ReplyDeleteI found Australian Aboriginal fabrics that I've admired and just couldn't buy -- till today. I have mass quantities headed my way. Appreciate the news about the sale. They should give you a commission! Love your work and enjoy your blog, Quilt Dad.
ReplyDeleteYou are evil - but I thank you for sharing! I was getting ready to go to bed, but always happy to buy Amy Butler on sale!! I was looking for some of these prints just today! I had to restrain myself....
ReplyDeleteThanks so much John. Hope I have a little money left for Lancaster PA Quilt show coming up in a couple weeks.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS, John!!! Your shamrocks RoCk!!! Shared the info with my Bee peeps. Such a wonderful way to celebrate St. Patty's Day. : ) Piecefully, Pam
ReplyDeleteSweet.
ReplyDeleteDid you get your order yet? I ordered but haven't received my order yet(or a shipping notice or anything).
ReplyDeletenm, I just noticed the message on the front page that they're behind a bit! Thanks for posting about that sale, I have a good amount of fabric coming to me!
ReplyDeleteDid you get your order yet?!?! Their site is now down??!!!?? Did anyone get their order?
ReplyDeletehttp://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/13304010.aspx
ReplyDeleteThey sent me an email about 5 days later that my order shipped, then it was sent Priority and I got it in a couple of days.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, no, I have not yet received my shipment, but I have been reading that other bloggers have been getting their shipments slowly but surely. I am not alarmed yet -- I am sure they were SLAMMED when word of that sale got out. Of course, I have no affiliation with them and I hope I won't regret giving them a plug on my blog! Def. keep me posted as you hear more ...
ReplyDeleteI placed 2 orders - got a small portion of the first one so far. Many of my choices were marked 'sold out' on the form - one larger cut was sent in 2 pieces. Not sure I'll be using them again.
