I had such fun putting together my last fat quarter bundle with the Fat Quarter Shop that I've been itching to do it again. And with bees on the brain, it's no wonder that I built my latest fabric pack around Melody Miller's Cross Stitch Bee print from her Ruby Star Spring line. I loved playing off of the shades of pink, plum, orange, teal and raspberry to pull together this fun mix.

Wow. I already loved this Melody Miller fabric...but now you've gone and added a few of my other favs too. This rocks. Thank you so much for such a great bundle. Now if I could just hint to the Mr. that this would make such a great gift... ha!

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog the other day - lovely stuff. I am very new to the whole quilting thing, and although I am an experienced textile artist, I am finding myself very over whelmed by fabric choices! I would appreciate any advice you can give me, in particular in regards to fat quarter bundles - I'm only really interested in large scale quilts (not mini projects) so are they are worthwhile buy? Equally, I would appreciate any advice on how much fabric is good to buy (in general) eg. I see some fabric and I LOVE it, but don't have a pattern for it yet (I'm sure you know what I mean!) Anyway, sorry for the lengthy comment.
